Sound and Video lag

    The entire computer is running alright as far as I can tell its just when I run media player of watch videos on youtube. Its seems to lag or run slow I've run spybot,AVG, defragged,and disk cleanup and it hasnt seemed to help, Can anyone help with this?

    Ok, first of all you have both mcafee and AVG installed. Pick one and uninstall the other. Having 2 virus scanners/firewalls will slow you computer down, even though it sounds like a good Idea. Personally, I would go with AVG, I used to have Mcafee, and it just slowed my boot times down tremedously. Now I've got nod32, takes up 1.9mb and works great.

    That should be it for HJT. You can also make your computer faster by keeping the total processes under 50. I currently have 34 running now. Press ctrl+alt+delete and click on the process tab, and make sure the box that says "show processes from all users" in the bottem is checked. Tell me how many processes you have after you fixed the entries in HJT.
