I have a backup of Halo 2 on my pc in an iso image. Explorer says it is 4.39gb. When I try to restore it to a dvd+R disc it says that the image is too big. I split the image using "splitfile" so I can backup the image to 2 dvd's. Will i be able to play the game again and will it ask me for disc 2 when needed?

Don't do that. Just open the files, and delete the xbox live files:

    update.xbe
    downloader.xbe
    dashupdate.xbe

Now, it'll be 4.34, which is just under the limit :)

Thanks. How do I edit an iso image to delete those files?

You need to open and extract the ISO with an XboX ISO reader. Something like Qwix, Craxtion, XISO Manager, etc. Then you will be able to see the contents of the ISO. Delete what Quadratic stated, then rebuild the ISO with the same tool you used to extract it from.

It has to be read and rebuilt with an XboX ISO reader.
