hey, i use the TMPGEnc program, i have a AVI film and before i take hours to make the thing a MPEG-1 file, how do you make the thing split into separate files so that i can fit them onto a cd.(or multiply cds)

also, does the cd go by 80minutes or 700megabytes (those are the size cd's that i use)

    thanks!!!

If you are using the tmpgenc wizard, then after you drop in the audio/video file, you would click on 'source range' and move the slider to a max of 80 minutes and click on 'end frame' and that will set up the 1st cd. If you want to see how it's done, go to http://entiendo.gotnet.net and even though it is using a ripped dvd, the same applies for avi files. Just use the avi file for video and audio when you load it up in tmpgenc.
