I got a STARVIEW box today.

Read the instruction sheet (the idiots guide sheet of A4 that the supplier wanted me to follow.)

    Turned ON - Selected English
    Went to Installation
    Selected Autoscan.
Took about 4 mins and continually said 'failed' - which I was told to ignore.
But ... It never finds andy TV or Audio channels at all whatsoever. It is almost as though it is not pluuged in.

I have tried a normal NTL box and it works fine in its place.
The only thing that is different with connections is the converter supplied for the Cable Input - which the NTL box does not need.

Having read the posts on this product it should be plug and go!
    Any ideas???

    Got it working....

I am in an area that is not just NTL but Ex CW. Ie. it used to be Cable & Wireless here in Sussex until the change to NTL years ago.
Once I remembered that the Channels are being found..... :)
