    hey there all

let me say that i do know how to do dvd to svcd and vcd rips - no problem there. Divx encoding still irritates the hell out of me, but that's for another forum :)

imho, the best part of dvd's are the extra's - the cast interviews, the deleted scenes and music video's.

i'm trying to rip and encode these small clips, maybe 5 - 9 minutes in length to svcd. know how to do it as a vcd, but would really prefer as svcd.

the problem i've been facing is working out the bitrate for them. i'm used to using the guide for svcd ie. taking the length of the whole film and then plugging this into fitcd and using the bitrate that it gives me. now i've a total time for these clips of 9 minutes or so !!

Now i'm stuck dead in the water !!

Any help would be appreciated :)

    see ya
