the cd eject buttom doesn't work to good

the cd button doestn't alwayes eject the cd when i want it too speciely after i swapped for the hack samsung

 

What kind of chip do you have? If it's a chip that requires you to solder to the back of the eject button, desolder the point before you try to solder the wire to it. If you don't it will be overly sensitive or will not work at all.

 

thanks for the reply the x chip but it is solderless the eject button used to open the drive and if it didn't the samsung button would

i am going to see if my pc reads the hacked 616 as a 605.any new ideas i am ttracing wires now

 

The only other thing I can think of then is to check the DO point. If that isn't connected properly, it can cause problems as well.

after i did soft mod the thing quit
the pc reads the 616 as 605 and i can eject from pc
but when i hook up to xbox nada i just spliced it into harddrive power

still can't get it to eject with xbox button thanks bro help is needed

 

could possibly be a bios problem...other than that, i'm out of ideas =[

ok i bought the thing from ebay and it worked ok
the other thomson refused to open.the new hacked sammy opened sometimes like on start up if i wanted or sometimes it didn't want to open in the middle of reading cd it seems.then i soft modded .it hasn't been right sinse
