I searched for ths problem but ther we're no problems that seemed to fit mine exactly, my problem is when I encode a long movie the audio is out of time towards the end of the movie. I am encoding an .avi(Mpeg 3)into a Mpeg 1, how do I solve this problem?

Well first you should Try extracting the audio from the AVI file to WAV format and useing that as the Audio source in Tmpgenc ,This is so Tmpgenc doesn"t do the decompression of the audio file which can in some cases change the audio length which causes the sort of Sync Problem you are haveing..You can do this with Virtual-Dub"...you should also make sure that you are encodeing your AVI file to Mpeg useing the same Frame rate..meaning that your Mpeg file should have the same framerate as your Mpeg file ,Encodeing to a Different Framerate can cause Sync problems among other Things...i hope this Helps...Cheers
