UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

    hey i got that error UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME with the blue screen when i boot up windows. Last thing i did was defrag my pc then it had an said the defrag app had an error and it shut off my pc and now i have the U_B_V error.

    I have used the recovery console and did chkdsk /r, chkdsk /p, and fixboot and none of those have done anything.

    Right now i am running Ubuntu linux off of a CD.

    Please help me and thank you in advance!

    to clarify i do not use linux i mainly have Windows XP Sp2 but i wanted to use and OS i could just run off the CD so i could get to the forums.
