Untitled mp3's

    Have about 300 untitled mp3's on my computer/i pod does anyone know any software that can detect the titles for me or will i have to listen and relist them.

    MusicBrainz is supposed to do it but it's not all that effective. Probably worth a try though.

    Are the titles part of the file name?

    use tag&rename. if they are full disks, the online database will probably have it, rename for you. It will also use tags to name files, or use filename to get tags, etc... if there is no info at all (unlikely), it will play the file, and you can easily rename it within the software. this software is loaded with features. spend some time with it, clean up your library.

    Use WinAmp, now with GraceNote. It can 'listen' to a song and make a pretty good guess as to what it is.
