Hey, I'm thinking of buying Toshiba's 12.1" U200-199, but i've noticed they have the same model with a slightly less powerful spec but its a lot cheaper (U200-198) I was wondering how upgradeable the CPU is? the 198 has a Intel T5500 Core 2 1.66Ghz but the 199 has the T7200 2.0Ghz. I was hoping to buy the 198 and upgrade the CPU and obv chuck some more RAM in. Does this sound feasible? Thanks in advance Os
ill put it to you this way. im a tech and when ever we get laptop's in our shop that i have to take apart to get to the processor its a long daunting task. you have to make sure you remember where all screws wires, and pieces go. so if so its a few hours to do the whole job and plus the processor probably wont be cheap either so you might be better off buying the already better version.
