Hi, I have a 512 Centron USB mass storages device. Suddenly When I load it to any PC (WINXP or WinME) the light on the drive comes on for 2-3 seconds, windows finds the new hardware, but then the light comes off and the device becomes an unknown device recognized. When I place the drive in a ps2 the light stays on, is there anyway to transfer the important files from the usb drive to ps2 memory card then back to another usb mass storage. Or does anyone have any clues as how to get the files off of the usb device.
when you put it in the ps2 it probably is reformatted. so windows cant read it. put it in your computer then in my computer right click and format. and to get files to your ps2 youcould use action replay or try the ps2 forums
