The legend!!! A very close resemblance. LOL

I splurged this evening, 99 cents for a 5 qt jug of walmart window cleaner for the car, LOL

Gotta go to some garage sales tomorrow and find some baby clothes.

The last thing I "splurged" on, was my first car. It is a 1989 Saab 900 SPG. Its a 3 door hatchback, black on black, 5 speed manual transmission, all leather interior, alloy wheels, power locks/windows/sunroof, turbocharged engine, 4 cylinder/16 valve, gas-charged bilstein shocks, front and rear sway bars, custom sound system[installed myself:), one of only 840 for that model year.

Pics are from this past winter but none-the-less....

    @PeaInAPod-
Wow, nice car, lol. But hey, do you get good gas milage or kilometerage or whatever it is where you are?
And while we're on the subject of driving, guess what? I'm 17, dont have a licence and... I DONT CARE! Ha! *begins to wonder if thats even an asset*

And my latest thing is a PS3! Oh, wait. I still need $300...

@Saugmon and The Fiend .... damn, you caught me! My secret is out LOL! None of those enlargement devices and methods for moi! ...not that I know who this Ron Jeremy is ;) Hell, can you imagine the mess had he been married to Lorena Bobbit! ...it would have been a tragic end to a larger than life career!

Yeah the car gets pretty good mileage. If I keep the rpm's down when I shift I usually get 21-24 mpg city. But if I'm racing a guy at the stoplight I probably dont get mileage anywere above 14 mpg!

@Auslander- Yep, clutch is original. The only things that I/are replaced on the car are....

1)The headliner was drooping badly, so I had the headliner redone.
2)The front driver-side fender had a fairly serious rust problem, and the left also but not quite as severe. So as we speak the car is at the body shop were I am having new left and right wheel wells installed.
    3)Installed 2 new foglamps.

you'll have to race me sometime.

as i said in the car modding thread, i'm looking forward to putting a supercharger and sti tranny in my car.

    *edit*
my v-8 4-speed auto ram gets about 15 mpg, so i don't see 14 as too great, weirdname. that's about to be expected for a turbo'ed 4-banger redlining.

Yeah I forget how many pounds of pressure the turbocharger is pushing out. But what I have been looking for is a upgraded Turbo Controller. It called a "Hot Box" basically slot it in your looking at a instant 50 horses added, plus with some fine tuning of the engine and turbo along with higher octane fuel you can really push the car. It was a factory option from Saab back in the day, but rarely any cars have them factoy installed because it was so expensive. I was watching a used unit on ebay and it sold for $330.00+

More recently - Copper plated Zippo 06 model. That thing'll hold a steady flame in a hurricane :)
