I'm looking for the (easyly understandable) source code of an MPEG-4 codec. I would use it to load it on a microprocessor which is supposed to compress the video from a camera to a very low bitrate (9bauds). Anybody help me?
i'm not sure if xvid is easily understandable.... but it follows mpeg4 standards, just like divx and all. i don't really know how to do this. how about going to http://forum.doom9.org/ there's a lot of people with skills there.
