Does anyone know of an alternative prog I could use to convert D2V file as a "bogus" AVI in order to multiplex using VirtualDubMod. I use this sequence to backup my DVDs:

    - Decrypt
    - Extract Audio and D2V file with DGIndex
    - Fix Delay with DelayCut
    - Build the Frameserver with VFAPI
    - Multiplex and Encode to XviD with VirtualDubMod.

For a reason, VFAPI gives me an error like ???Nameofthemovie.D2V??? and doesn't open the file. Did searches on the net, but I couldn't fix my problems. I tried to start over many times and create a brand new D2V file without luck. Downloaded a new version of VFAPI and that didn't do it either.

I used to do this without any problems until then. That is why I am asking about a different program to convert the D2V to an editable AVI by VirtualDubMod.

Google seemed to suggest AviSynth. Ideas?

Yes, definitely use AVISynth. AVISynth means that you can avoid converting to RGB.
