    Hi
I am having problem capturing TV or VCR using VirtualDub or AVI_IO. I tried two different cards-KWorld TV Capture Card Model TV878RF PRO, and ATI Wonder VE. When I start these program a message comes up saying that no capture device is recognized or Capture Driver is not installed properly. I tried uninstalling the cards several times and downloading the latest drivers. In the Virtualdub capture mode nder video, I see "0 BT878 Vfw to wdm mapper and 1 Microsoft wdm Image Capture. If I go to Caprure- Preferences I see the same as above in the Capture Drives. The same thing with AVI_IO. I dont think the softwares are recognizing my capture Cards. Does anybody know any solution. I have wasted money on two cards already. By the way I am running WIN XP SP1, 2.4GHZ P4, 512 DDr333 RAM, ATI Radeon 900 64MB Video Card.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

AVI_IO and VirtualDub don't work together with
    wdm-drivers, they only work with
    vfw-drivers (Video vor Windows).

That's a problem, which I have too. Maybe You
find an old vfw-driver for your cards.
