i always work with VirtualDub to convert mpeg 2 to avi and it work great i start few days with the ver.[bold]VirtualDub-MPEG2-AC3 [/bold]evey thing running ok until all stop after 50% from bigining encoding!!! try many times add and remove it and same proplem back again any ideas
I don"t know what the Problem could be But maybe try a different version of Virtual-Dub..The Version I use is this one : http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/stable/VirtualDub-MPEG2.zip And with this Filter you get AC3 decodeing support in Virtual-Dub and Tmpgenc... http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/AC3ACM/AC3ACM.zip Cheers
thnx for reply but i try many versions ...same proplem comes i work with xp and NTFS format could be some system set up is the proplem other software work ok with mpeg 2 to avi converting ahhhhhh
i know virtual dub mod accepts mpeg2, and it always crashes when i'm converting directly. again (the same little trick i resolved in the Tmpeg question) try frameserving it, using dvd2avi or any frameserver, and use the original virtualdub, its stable.
