I have a video clip that was in the Windows Media format which i then converted to a VOB file using DivxToDVD and used Nero to burn it.It seemed to copy the file ok but it will not work on my DVD player? Even though it list's the file on screen?

Your standalone dvd player has to support reading .vob file. Windvd pc software should play the file fine.

    Good Luck

What do you mean by "Even though it lists the file on screen?" What screen? TV, computer?

Do you have more than one dvd player you could try it in?

What dvd media format did you use? Some dvd players don't like one or the other (dvd+r especially).

    hi

a vob on its own is no go!

it needs its BUP and IFO and all 3 files placed in a folder VIDEO_TS

if you need to make bup / ifo use ifoedit and click CREATE IFO button...
