what is a good choice for a new burner?

    i'm going to buy another burner.i have the sony 510a.it's fried. does anyone one have any suggestions?

    I have been through many burners over the last few years and find the Pioneer models the most reliable. I love the new 108 model.

    I have 2 Pioneer 108's here and they are great.

    Havnt had a problem with them, so thats my recommendation.

    I just bought the IOMEGA super DVD burner.
    It is external so I can move it around too.

    it has 16x, it does DVR+R, DVR-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW, CDR, CDRW.
    It does Dual Layers too.

    I got it at Compusa for $99 day after thanksgiving day sale

    I absolutely love it, My burnt DVD's play perfect on my tv dvd player too!

    I love my 2 108s, my 510a is still going strong too!!
