What vide capture card does the braintrust here reccomend?

    If Quality is your Main Concern and have a Bit of Money to spend then I would recomend a Canopus ADVC-100 or the Canopus ACEDVio...They are Professinal quality Analogue/Digital converters that use Hardware DV Compression and have Audio Lock so there is never a chance of Sync problems and they are compatible with most Capture/Editing software...These devices will run you about $225.....
    If you are Looking for something cheap Like a Good TV Card then I would Recomend something like the ASUS TV Card or any TV Card that uses the new 10Bit decoder chips as the Produce much better quality than your standard TV Card with a BT878A 8-bit Decoder chip and these will run you about $50 to $100...Whatever you do don"t get a USB device as they are Notoriusly bad devices that have a Lot of Problems....good luck
