I posted a thread a few ago in reference to my new LG burner. What is a good burner besides the Plextor. They are very hard to find in our area so what would be the next best. I have been using a NEC till I got this LG. The NEC worked very good. But now NEC is Sony-NEC so are they still a good burner or what. Please advise needed. Thanks in advance.

For IDE drives I would look at Pioneer & Lite-On, if you have SATA then the Samsung 203B would be the way to go. You can get these drives at NewEgg.com pretty cheap, usually between $30-$40 and sometimes free shipping.

    Titlest Thanks.

I wrote a thread a few ago as I bought a LG DVD Writer and when I backed up one of my movies using AnyDVd and Clone DVD it would not play on TV DVD player. When I did it with DVD Shrink it works fine and plays on TV DVD player. so what is the problem.
