anyone know which software i can use to transfer my own personal videos and files to my ipod? itunes is too complicated and i just need a file transfer software. i thought the software gets installed automatically once i connect it to my pc via usb but iti doesnt.
iTunes could be very complicated for basic tasks such as media files transfer. Plus, you cannot manage multiple iPods/iPhones on the same computer given iTunes can be linked to one iPod at a time. You may find interesting that it does exist iTunes alternatives like the freeware CTManager available here. I am using it to manage and play my iPhone 3GS at work and at home. So far, I am very pleased with it.
