Sorry, I don't know that program.
A DVD, which has the movie in a VOB file set, has multiple audio streams (0x80, 0x81...). An AVI file, instead, has usually just 1 audio stream.
The applications you use to rip always allow you to select the stream you want to rip and, sometimes, to remap the audio steram as 80x01 (the default one).
    My sugegstion:
First rip your DVD with DVD Decrypter, selecting the stream you wand to keep and remapping the audio stream you keep as the default one ( 80x01).
Then convert VOB --> DVD with your program.
