windows explorer just recently started to crash

    Hi,

    Ive had my pc since july its an AMD athlon 2600 xp
    512mb ram
    ati 9800 se graphics
    120gb HDD

    People say on the net that spysweeper causes windows explorer to crash also i disabbled all the programs in the startup menu apart from AVG.

    Sometimes whenever i click on a program its says windows cannot find the file, but then i click on it again and it works, i know it doesnt sound that bad but its annoying.

    Help would be much appreciated

    check for spyware, can use ad-aware se from lavasoft, spybot

    i have spysweeper, ad-aware, AVG, PestPatrol and many other pc bug terminators
