Is there any way that I can raise the speed of my router which is 54mbps to 108mbps? My Adapter on my other computer is capable of 108mbps. Also, does the computer that the router is directly hooked up to run at 54mbps because of the router?

Depends on the router, although i don't think that speed is possible. what'r your routers specs?

not going to see any speed difference as your internet speed has to go up a lot higher than currently just to get at 10mbps nevermind 54mbps or 108mbps.

That figure is just for data transfer, has no effect on computer speed.

If I upgrade my internet, will both computers become faster or qill the transfer rate create a maximum speed limit on them?

    -Thanks in advanced!
