xbox divx/xvid

    hi

    ive just got my xbox 1 flashed and ive heard that they can be used to play divx xvid movies on.

    ive tried to play a movie on a cd and a dvd but with no joy

    can anybody shed any light on this for me?

    Install a dashboard like UnleashX and then download XBMC(Xbox Media Center). It is a program that can play many media file types without the need for the dvd adapter.

    http://217.118.215.116/



    and get the "Latest SVN build"

    Ftp to your xbox, (Search on here if you dont know how to do that), and transfer the xbmc folder, (Its in the SVN file you downloaded)
    to a place on your hard drive, I would suggest The E drive.

    when done, run the default.xbe in the folder.
