I have locked my hdd using config magic. I have disabled the chip using the external switch. I get the error screen in all the different languages. Do I need to load the orginal dashboard on bank 2. What is the difference between protect/unprotect mode? What modes do you have your chip in when conencting to xbox live? enable\disable protect\unprotect bank1\bank2
Ok when you change your dashboard to evox (or another)you should leave xboxdash.xbe ALONE and call the evoxdash evoxdash.xbe (you probably read an old guide) easy to fix as long as you backed up the origanal dash protect unprotec is to protect or unprotect your BIOS so just leave it ON
