XP SP2 Serial Key

    I have read somewhere that the XP Serial Key is "hidden" somewhere on the disk... is this true? If so, does anyone know where it is please?

    It is not "hidden" on the install disk, if that's what you mean. The Product key is not hard coded [i.e. does not have a singular unique identity] to the Windows XP CD or any other version of Windows installation disk media.

    I think you can find it by doing this:
    1.click on start
    2.on the second column, right click on My Computer
    3.it's on the general tab.
    i thats the one you are looking for
