I have the above unit and lately it's been just switching off by itself. Seems to automatically do this if I adjust the volume at all. Whether I turn it to Tuner, CD, LCD..anything, it'll come on and within a few seconds it's off again. I have the manual, but there's nothing in it that addresses this.

Any ideas? Any and all advise is greatly appreciated!

sounds like its shutting of in auto protect. The first thing I would do is dis-connect all speakers, and turn the unit on. If it stays on, you probably have a short in a speaker. Start hooking up the speakers one at a time. When you get to the bad one the unit will shut down.
There are some other possible problems but this is by far the most likely.
    Good Luck
