Hello, I just purchased the YAMAHA rx-v363 and am having trouble setting up 5 speaker surround. I'm getting into the setup and the receiver tests all 5 speakers with success and when when I select ok to verify setup it sets up surround for just the front two speakers....any ideas? Thanks, Jason
I think that clicking OK when you did, you're just telling the receiver you've finished listening to the test. You're verifying all the speakers work in the test. Have you setup the speaker distances and speaker levels? You'll also need to set the receiver to auto. Then, when a dvd is played, it will automatically detect dolby digital 5.1 soundtrack. For DTS you'll need to manually choose that in the movie's menus.
