i tried handbrake , seemed quite friendly to use , but still left me with

a few concerns/questions

My original BDMV folder was just over 15 Gigs in size , when converting to .mkv

i was sure to check large file size ,as i presumed this would give me the highest

quality .

What i got was a file just over 1 gig in size . im not complaining or being rude ,

I have been backing up my DVDs for years to keep the originals safe. I use DVDFab, DVDShrink and VOBBlanker when I want to change the authoring or eliminate things and currently using NERO 10 for burning. I'm now starting to get some Blu-Rays and want to do the same thing - back them up. I've read that DVDFab works to rip, but what about the other things that DVDShrink and VOBBlanker do? I have created a couple of MP4 files using Windows Movie Maker using High Resolution Display output. This produced a 1920 x 1080 at 29.97 Frame Rate video as .MP4. Audio format is 192 kbps 48 kHz stereo.

The original source of these videos are from a Canon 70D as HD video.

I have 3 videos produced at the following file sizes: 13GB, 5.3GB and 1GB

Wthout going into lots of boring detail, baiscally i want to stream full 1080p blu-ray. i'm not sure of the terminology bitrate/transfer rate? but what speed would i need to get through my internet, in either wifi or ethernet? and what is the terminolgy

I have a Humax HDR 2000T i use Filezilla to transfer video to the Humax and i have found out that i can also transfer video files off the Humax the same way. I have copied the 2 original DVD's of The Ten Commandments and then merged them using DVD Remaker. I then obtained the output files and put them in a folder called VIDEO_TS. I also created a blank AUDIO_TS folder.

Then using IMGBurn I burned the two folders to a blank blueray disc. However when I tried to play the disc in my Blueray Disc player it was seen as a data disk and the only way I was able to play it was to select each VOB file individually.
