1000-1050$ Gaming PC

    all from canada computers? did you get a good deal on the 8800gt?

    i'd get the barracuda because of the 32mb cache for a couple dollars more (still cheaper than ncix). the samsung burner is the cheapest sata drive with the highest specs (using it right now). there's a 500w OCZ StealthXStream on sale, which seems like the best deal at CC.

    just my opinion though

    32MB cache isn't really that much to shout about. The 32MB Samsung F1 drives aren't especially faster than WD's 16MB drives.

    I got the 8800 for 200$ at ugh Futureshop.... I hate them but it was cheapest around..

    CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 200$
    Mobo: Asus P5K-E 160$
    RAM: Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X2048-6400C4 2GB 2X1GB 30$
    GPU: XFX GeForce 8800GT 512MB 600MHZ 1.8GHZ GDDR3 200$
    HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 SATA NCQ 3.0Gb/s 500GB 32MB Cache 85$
    Case: NZXT LEXA Blackline ATX Case Black 110$
    PSU: Corsair HX Series CMPSU-520HX 520W ATX 90$
    DVD: LG GSA-H55L 30$
    Cooling: OCZ Vendetta 2 CPU Cooler 43$

    Total : 950$ w/o Tax and after MIR (including Shipping)
