    is it possible to use it as a internet connection or is it just for like a home network

    As far as I know its mainly used for connecting cam-corders and stuff like that. Whats wrong with your normal connection? having a 400mbs connection between your computer and modem wont really make a difference unless your router/modem is on the other side of the world.
