197 Minutes for phase I preparation?

    I have an overclocked 2.4 ghz, which I just reformatted. and before I reformatted, phase I used to go by really fast, but now it takes over three hours to finish .-. is this supposed to happen? or am I missing something?

    ~3h for just the preparation or the entire process?

    check your dma settings and install/update chipset/mainboard/ide drivers

    wait, are you saying that it takes over 3 hours for the whole process or just Phase 1?

    XD I figured it out.. it was a hardware problem.. I was using it on an external HD and I didn't have USB 2.0 driver installed.
