i`ve had a look round the forums, but can`t find a simple answer, is there a way to get 1 or 2 mpeg films onto a dvd disk?

i`ve tried to use nero but when i try vcd it says wrong disk, when i try via the dvd it says wrong file...

i don`t care about menu and chapters, i just want to put the film onto disc, so it can be played on a dvd player.

This is strange 'cos Nero can usually handle jobs like this pretty easily. Just to make sure you're using the proper procedures:
At Nero StartSmart, click 'DVD' and select 'make your own DVD video'. Then click 'Add video files' and paste the mpegs on the left window.
    Was this what you did?

    Howdy temerc, welcome to aD,

You'll need to render your MPEG to VOB's to be DVD compatiable. Use either TMPGEnc DVD re-author OR Nero's NeroVision. It will take a bit of time to chane the files but it shouldn't be any trouble :)

    Cheers,

    Pete
