My husband and I have done everything we know possible to burn dvd's. We are using decrypter and shrink (paid for it) and then using all different types of burning software. But no matter what program we use to burn, it gets to the final step of burning and tells us that we need to insert blank dvd or cd. Well, its already inserted. So we have tried cd-r, cd-rw, dvd-r, and dvd-rw's. Do we need to format or something or why is it not recognizing that there is a cd or dvd in there. We are at a complete loss, and it has consumed our last 4 days. HELP PLEASE! Thanks in advance to any response.

A little puzzled why you paid for DVD Decrypter and Shrink. They
    are both free programs.
    Check out this link:
    http://webpages.charter.net/bacitup/Guides.htm
There are software downloads available for the most popular programs
to copy DVDs. The guides are the best around. They walk you through
it step by step with lots of pictures. If you work your way through
the guide one step at a time it should give you the answers you need.
When I use DVD Decrypter and Shrink, I then burn with Imgburn which
    is another free program.

Lets see if we can't get you guys sorted. Firstly some bad news...please read the following...

    http://www.dvdshrink.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2307&sid=0849e9f29704e188f7bbffd7ca00a05d

Hopefully you get your cash back.

    Here's a link I highly RECOMMEND...

The process is very simple, follow the detailed instructions in those guides and your off and runnin'.

When choosing a ripper, there are ones that will deal with certain encryptions, and others that cannot. Simply choose another until the goal is achieved. Most members have an arsenal of tools at their disposal, some freeware and some not. It's largely a matter of personal choice, but be assured the software indicated in those guides are well "loved" here at AD.

    All the best.

We have done the step by step guides but it gets to the last step to burn and it says to insert the disc. Well the disc is inserted but its like its not reading that its there. My drives work fine for everything else. Any other help. I REALLY appreciate all the info.

    Thanks again!!!

Is your firmware up to date? Sometimes a writer doesn't recognize
the newer faster discs if the firmware is not up to date.
You might also post a log here.
