So I'm trying to copy dvd's for the 1st time and having some trouble. I have mac the ripper, and toast, but cant seem to get anything to work. Everything seems ok with toast but for some reason when I insert a blank dvd it just ejects it and says to insert a blank disc. I'm wondering if i bought a bad batch of blank dvd's or if something it wrong with my burner.
    I have a G4 laptop with a MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-815
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong or what other mac users are using to copy dvd's?

you sure you have the right media (+Rs or -Rs)? Also, are you sure you are specifying to make a DVD in toast? I'm not very mac savy (most of us here use real computers) but when you rip the DVD you are compressing it, correct? Most DVDs are DVD9 dual layer and won't fit on DVD+/-Rs. Also, you should remove your email address from your sig, as according to forum rules.
