I have two avi files which are a film split in two and also two .idx, .sub files that go with them.

I tried burning to dvd using ConvertXtoDVD3 and loaded the two avi files in and when pressed process it stated in the info panel at the bottom that the subs had loaded. The DVD files seemed to show that it had converted both files to make one film but on playback it gets to chapter 15 (halfway through film) and then restarts the film.

I can join the avi files but don't know how to join the sub files.
Or is there a better way of getting the end result.

    Hi guys,
I'm still relativly new to all this so please be patient with me lol
Ok...I have 2 srt files I wish to join to make 1 whole file to add to my movie...The 2nd srt was way out of sync so I muddled through with Time Adjuster and managed to get the timeline right...took me a while to figure out the right imput time needed but got it in the end.
What I'm woundering is if Time Adjuster will somehow mess up the timeline...It has a "join two files" feature which I've used but still not sure if this is the way to go...please help

I never used Time Adjuster, but if you have two subtitle parts and two video parts in sync, Subtitle Workshop works a treat, very easy to join the srt.
