I have a movie that is split into 2 avi's. I know how to put 1 avi onto a dvd. How can i put the 2 avi's onto the DVD. Do i merge them or put them on the dvd seperatly?

It depends on your DVD authoring software i suppose. using DVD Lab you could do it either way although ideally you would want to merge them first as this makes life a little easier when calculating bitrate for the mpeg 2 conversion. It would also stop the pause that would occur when moving from one file to the next.

Well if i was doing it i would configure TMPGEnc to accept both files and output as a single file. This would mean that you would essentially be re-encoding the audio. If it was a 5.1 channel audiotrack that you wanted to keep, this solution would not be appropriate. As for actual joiners im not sure, i've seen a few across the Net.
