Gold watches don't get given out till 65. You've got a ways to go, my advice stay out of submersible vehicles & steer clear of electric vehicles if lithium batts are anything to go by.
I've been around since sometime mid 2004 I think it was.. while I was a site admin over at Llamma forums and a mod on XIII anime hounds triple triad gamers place. Different names.. different accounts.. console wars and the great culling.. funny how a bot made account has lasted the longest. I remember you being a noob new arrival there Scorp in the xbox forums. It's been interesting watching the people who stuck around grow from kids at school into people with families and responsibilities. My granddaughter is 9 next year.. sheesh..
Indeed.. I think your first post was about slayers and which bios was best for an xecuter3.. I remember answering with a pm with a link to a couple of working ones. Am I the only one of the really old time Xbox people left from the days before the 360 was released?.. I've honestly forgotten most of it now.. I never officially made addict because someone decided to make a Senior Member instead and I think it was back in 2004, but not certain. Now I really am a senior member.
you needed 2500 posts for addict status which I achieved I think just under 6 months so for me it was 2005 when that happened.
I'm pretty certain I had over 2500 posts by 2005. I was pretty active in the first three years on AD. Most of my current post count occurred during the first 5 years of membership, and then like many I left for a while. Senior Member is a personal designation given to a few of us who aren't mods. I was made a Senior by Loaded not long after I joined in 2003.
your post count determines your rank status. Newbie to Junior Member -- 25 posts Junior Member to Member -- 100 posts Member to Senior Member -- 500 posts Senior Member to Addict -- 2500 posts anyone to Moderator -- determination and bribes to admins anyone to Admin -- decent six-figure (euros or dollars, we are not picky) lump sum to AfterDawn's Swiss bank account. https://forums.afterdawn.com/threads/now-all-member-ranks-are-based-on-number-of-posts.308895/
I don't think the count for rank status was in effect in 2003. I think it was implemented later. I was made a Senior long before I had 2500 posts. Notice that at the time loaded, a moderator only had 855 posts and 26 Trophy Points.
Just popped in to the good old Afterdawn for old times sake and realized that my account was created Nov 23 2003, So 20 years like OP and Afterdawn.
