Another mod originally gave Peter a temp ban but he decided to rejoin immediately which isn't cool. We give temp bans as a warning so if the user doesn't take our warning seriously they will get a permanent boot. To me it seemed Peter wasn't going to be happy until he felt his opinions were taken as gospel and that when it comes to football commenmtary him and his footy cereal bowl were clearly superior to the rest of us wannabe footy fans and that got old. Maybe I was the only one and that's why I asked what I asked.

The one moment that really stood out in this world cup was Argentina's Maxi Rodriguez's goal against Mexico. That was one of the best shots I HAVE EVER SEEN! I thought this cup was incredible.
I think even if Materazzi said something (which i'm sure he did), you can't react like that, ESPECIALLY in the World Cup Finals, he let his team down. No matter what was said, he should have kept his cool, people may disagree but i think in that situation, you should shrug it off. Not turn around and ram your head into someone's chest, it could've caused a heart attack, if he hit him hard enough. At the end of the day, that cost France the match. There's some rumours from the French media, that Materazzi called him a "Terrorist". However that was probably fabricated, as Zidane didnt tell his agent or Lawyer what he said, but SOMEHOW the papers know? It's very easily thought of as Zidane was of Algerian background.
I think they are saying that the IP address for TheDon are the same as PeterG969 & PeterG999. So I think people are inferring that you are one & the same..... Unless of course you share the same IP address as the other 2 ex-members. Which would be highly unlikely as most (if not all!) people have different IP addresses.

Well in the indian newspapers, it says that materatzi called him a terroist. They also said that a famous brazillian lip reader, discovered his words were "your sisters a prostitute". If thats tru, i would of gone for his nuts...have it! For me the best moment was henrys goal, to knock out the big gun, Brazil. Class.
Same here in Portuguese newspapers, Brasilian lip reader said that he told Zidane his sister was a prostitute.
They say he said Zidane's sister was a "Lady of the Night". At that moment, in that game, i still think no matter what was said, you're playing a TEAM game, suck it up, take his number, win the game, then bash him.
i think it was more to do about his mother the terrorist comment that caused him to head butt the other guy
If someone insults your mother or sister in such a profane manner, whether it is a team game or not, you hit the guy & hard. Otherwise you are not a man. If you do not defend those people closest to your heart, your are as big an arse as the guy who made the insult. Who else can your family depend upon? Saying "suck it up", is not a valid statement, in fact, it sucks.
