    1996 Dodge Viper.

actually, this is my favorite car, overall. second would be a 1968 4-Speed Hemi Charger. third would be the same Charger, model 1969.

i think so. sure, there's faster...there's better handling...there's better looking...there's more reliable, efficient, affordable..the list goes on and on. but nothing...[bold]nothing[/bold] puts it all together the way that Viper does...the way it shakes and roars, breathing pure power into you, setting your soul ablaze with the raw passion of 10 cylinders firing their strength through six gears into two massive tires...it's orgasmic. and [bold]nothing[/bold] comes close.

i'm actually on the lookout for a wrecked '96...there aren't many, but if i can pick one up after college, it would be a hell of a build.

imagine banging through all six gears as you ride in a body style that hasn't been seen since the '70s, re-engineered to the aerodynamics of today. it just seems incredible.

The Challenger should be sick, I can't wait to see a Challenger SRT-8, Camaro ZL-1, and GT500 Mustang duke it out.

I personally think the Camaro would win with its Corvette engine cranking out (In 2009) close to 550 HP.

The Challenger would come in second, although extremely close to the Camaro due to its Hemi and its dual butterfly scoops (W00T!).

The Mustang, cranking out horses (ponies?) in high-400s or low-500s, would come in last although it would probably put up a good fight.

On the Challenger though, I really like this car, if Real Estate goes like I am hoping I might own a SRT Challenger and a ZL-1 Camaro by about 2020.

P.S. I am sorry, this is just my opinion and I don't mean to start a Challenger vs Camaro vs Mustang thread. :)

    Peace,

    Pop Smith

If you can find yourself one of these and sell it, you'll be able to afford any care you like (so I'm told anyway).:

I have a taste for these mindless adventure novels by a guy named Clive Cussler who collects cars...he always has "Dirk", the hero of his novels, driving one of the cars in his collection and has a photo of himself and the car on the back cover. There were only three or four made and is supposed to be one of the most valuable in existance and the only "art deco" car ever designed. Kind of a wierd thing, eh LOL?
