hi,i just bought a westinghouse 22" monitor for my pc and when i t goes into screen saver mode or when playing a dark screen you see that its a little lighter around the edge of the screen, it looks almost like a light is shining from the edges, i had this on 2 of the same monitors.
    please help.

Thats unfixable. Its called something like backlight bleeding or bleed through. And like the name implies it is due to the light from the backlight "bleeding" out around the edge of the screen.

return it for warranty replacement. try out the new monitor if in doubt before you leave the store.

And if you end up deciding to get a new monitor don't get the same model you had problems with before.
