2nd Hard Drive Not showing in WinXP

I have just done a clean install of Winxp on a 120GB HDD set as master and a 80GB set as slave.

When I go in the Bios it shows both drives set correctly.
In Windows it only shows the 120GB master. If I look under device manager it shows both drives.

Any help where I may have gone wrong?

    Thanks in advance.

Is the 80GB Drive new? If so, is it formatted?

Right click on My Computer and go to Computer Management. Format your 2nd hard drive

it'll only work if the drive is active. Sometimes they're not, in which case you need to go to the disk management console to do that.

Besides, the drive also needs a letter. If it's never been formatted, it won't have one.
