I have a Memorex True 8X DVD Burner and Memorex DVD+R 4X media and I keep getting coasters with Xpress. I get no errors during the burning process but if you look at the DVD after its done burning you can see that it starts to burn then pauses then burns the rest of the disc. I really want to get Xpress to work because father likes the easy to use interface. Thanks
What speed are the discs being burned at, i.e. how long does it take to burn? The marks you are seeing may be due to the fact that your burner is starting out at 6X and then ratcheting up to 8X. I would highly suggest trying some better media such as Ritek, Maxell or Fuji. Poor media is the root of all evil when burning DVDs.
