32bit or 64 bit windows?

    I just got an AMD Athelon 64bit 4800+ Dual core PC. It has Windows Vista 32bit on it from the factory. Would switching it to a 64bit Windows do anything to boost the performance?

    Add up all your memory (video, ram, cpu cache) ...If it is over 4GB, then x64 would probably help.
