I have a nokia 3390 (I know its really old) NE way. I saw a post that you had given some unlock codes for back in 95 ...hehehe... I know that was really old too... lol...

I tried the codes and the second code worked for me and said SIM card not restricted. So I went ahead and put in my new SIM card and it said sim card not accepted? Do you know how I can get my phone to accept this sim card? Any help would be appreciated?

The phone was a Canadian Fido phone and I am trying to get it to accept my Rogers SIM card.
thanks a ton for any help you can give me :)
I used a DCT3 code generator and 2 codes were generated.
It told me that the restrictions had been removed on the screen.
I inserted my Rogers sim card and the message was, Sim card not accepted.

Ok, I finally got my Nokia unlocked.
For Fido 3390 Use a program called WorldUnlock Codes Calculator v4.1
Make sure that you select Nokia and General DCT3. Select Canada and Microcell Connexions Inc.
Then I used the two codes generated.
Make sure the sim card in not in the phone to do this.
Now I can use the Fido phone will my Rogers Sim card on Rogers network. The phone is now unlocked.

You can get the software from http://www.gsmevolution.com/freecalc/
