Do you need to have BOTH a 3D TV and 3D Blu-Ray player to watch a 3D movie? I currently have a non-Internet enabled Blu-Ray player but not a 3D TV. Before I get one, I wanted to know if I also had to get a new 3D Blu-Ray player to watch Avatar, for example, in 3D

Is there a special type or something? I saw on their site that they have a few different ones from $120-$160.

i am not sure if they will work but you will need a 3d bluray player the new players use HDMI 1.4 all this is going to cost a lot of $ and the tvs are going for 3000.00 and up you might be better off to wait till the prices drop plus the 3d may be just a passing fad like a lot of new products for example look what happened to hd video from Toshiba it was the thing to get until along came bluray
