3DS XL R4 cards? do they work?

    I just bought a brand new 3ds xl, haven't even opened it yet. I ws wondering if any of the R4 cards work on the 3ds and if there is anywhere reputable to purchase. Thank you for reading and any advice you may have

    As far as I knew, tons of 3ds flashcarts can work on latest 3ds v4.5, such as dstwo, r4i gold 3ds, r4i-sdhc 3ds, ace3ds plus...Well,hmm,off the top of my head, r4i gold 3ds from gamekool seems to be the top recommended one. I heard many positive feedbacks about them.
    Their cards have been pre-flashed to support latest version, no need to update it by yourself.:)Have a nice experience.

    Would I be right in thinking that the cards work with DS games but they don't run 3DS games?

    Yeah, you are right, currently there is no flash cart can play 3ds games, they will only let you play ds games because 3ds haven't been hacked yet.

    I've used http://www.thegamerdepot.com/ without any problem. Arrived quickly, excellent serivice, plus, free delivery. After reading around here and other sites, TheGamerDepot was the most recommended.

    i like dstwo best, but if you want r4, then choose r4i gold 3ds, it is no doubt best r4 card at the monment.
    and i have long cooperation with http://www.game4deal.com/, they are good.
