For a 50" plasma, which is better; 1080i or 720p? (I have read much conflicting info and I'd appreciate your opinions!)
What is your conflict? What have you read or heard? 720p is better with live action where there is a lot of fast motion. 1080i is better suited for slower motion video where there is more time to scrutinize the deatail on screen. 1080p is the best choice for consumers (not broadcasters though). It can handle fast motion without bluring and packs in the detail when it counts most. Ced
