I don't know which one to pick, which one is best for playing games like halo 2 and bioshock and COD4 and UT2004 and Flight Simulator.
XFX PCIE x16 256Mo 8600GT (base de Nvidia Geforce 8600GT)
BFG PCIE x16 512Mo 8500GT (Base de Nvidia Geforce 8500GT)
    Sapphire HD2600PRO 512Mo DDR2 (Base de ATI RAEDON HD2600)
I think the Sapphire is out of the game because it is not Nvidia, which I think is better and it is DDR2, not DDR3 like the others. I have to choose because This guyis going to build me a computer and I want he is letting me choose which one I want. The thing is the 8600GT is newer but has 256MB and the 8500GT has 512MB but it is older.
    Thanks

Go with the 8600. Although it doesn't have as much ram, it is a lot faster. It has a higher memory and core clock.

The best cheap card is the HD3850 which is currently priced at $180. It's a lot better than those card that you have selected, as good as high end DX9 cards. Get that or save money up and get it. You will be able to play all games, other then Crysis, on th highest settings possible (assuming you don't have AA enabled).

bandwidth counts more than ram on graphic cards, so go with the 8600

The 8600GT is far better, but the Radeon HD3850 is far better still, if you can afford one. Nvidia fanboy you may be, but trust me, the HD3850 is a graphics card well worth having. It even beats the 8600GTS hands down, let alone the 8600GT or 8500GT.
